Are you feeling lucky? Let Google drive your car for you!
The New York Times has a fascinating story of Google's attempts to create a self-driving car. They have seven Prius cars that have driven over 1,000 miles without human intervention and more than 140,000 miles with only the occasional human panicing taking over the car. It's an article that's both scary and exciting... perhaps some day sooner then you think, we can all hack into moving vehicles!
update: here's a link to Google's Blog, where they talk about their cars-that-can-drive-themselves work...
Larry and Sergey founded Google because they wanted to help solve really big problems using technology. And one of the big problems we’re working on today is car safety and efficiency. Our goal is to help prevent traffic accidents, free up people’s time and reduce carbon emissions by fundamentally changing car use.

Hmmm, what would Freud have to say about this?
