Sex, or rather touch of any kind between partners is important for another reason, that I think we are missing... Chemical exchanges from skin to skin touching (not neededly of a sexual nature) do tend produce an "addiction" in your mate. (Not to say, if you want a girl to like you keep tounching them. As she might just sock you in the nose). This is one of a number of reasons that long distance relationships are hard to maintian. The other thing that we need to look at is that sensual love need not be sex... In a lot of cases the same closeness can be acheived by sharing a senual moment that doesn't end with big bang from either partner. There is something to be said for curling up together and reading (Neitzche perhaps?), listening to music or just talking... I would have said watchinga movie, but with movies, the movie takes away from the interaction (The main reason why Movies aren't the best first dates (bad movie most likely mean bad date... as she didn't get to see any side of you other than your choice of moies)). Another thing to remember is there is a diffrence between having sex and making love, and the value of both of them is different. Making love seems will always help unify two people, and having sex will always serve as a realse of tension. The trick seems to be, to find someone where every time you do both (have sex and make love). So says I. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Quoting Xanthine: Hmmm. I like my partner to use a rubber though... Now, that is the first time I've ever actually seen "rubber" used like that. Apparently, (UK)rubber == (US)eraser, but until now I've never actually seen an indication of any American using a pencil eraser as part of sex... Well, there had to be someone... ;) Quoting GameMaster: ...sensual love need not be sex... In a lot of cases the same closeness can be acheived by [for example] curling up together and reading ..., listening to music or just talking... The main reason why Movies aren't the best first dates... Oddly, as I type this, somehow dates don't sound as bad (noo...my resolve is failing), but only if they're informal, no dressing up, nothing stressful (who needs it?)... dunno whether I'm being totally unrealistic here, or what. No idea, maybe I'll find out one day. IP: Logged |

Xanthine, I took this to mean "yes" to your bj question(as I was curious myself ): >>The scientists suspect semen will have the same effect on women regardless of how they are exposed to it. Great-now guys have a new line to use-"C'mon, baby, my semen will make you feel reaaal good-it's a scientific fact." You know some female scientist is probably working on a "semen" pill just so they can't. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I can't believe people actualy have to try to seperate lust from love. they are two seperate emotions completely. I think the biggest problem is people often confuse lust with love (mostly women, so guys don't get trapped into a relationship you don't want simply because your playmate tries to convince you that you are "making love"). I have never mixed up lust with love and I hope I never do. I only say "I love you" to someone I want to have sex with because I know she will fall for it and put out like a vending machine............Z ------------------ IP: Logged |

Coming next week: a study of the correlation between chocolate intake and happiness. The first group will be women who don't eat chocolate. The second group will be women who eat lots of chocolate. And the third group will be women who partake of chocolate, but keep the wrapper on the chocolate bar at all times. Safe chocolate. And the week after that ... research subjects who eviscerate their experimenters. IP: Logged |

Wow.... That was cold Snupy. I really think, however, that your playing a dangerous hand, ecause of what all that implies. Neo, I don't think all men are pigs, I just think too many girls get sukered by people who use the same type of ploy that Zorro mentioned. I know there are plenty of good guys out there, the prolem is that most girls don't go looking for good guys until they have been through the ringer with the "bad boys"... I've been very luck in that regard, and thank the hevans for souls that have passed through my life. Zorro, King of pigs was meant as an insult... I suppose I should point out that method of "'love' them and and leave them" seems to leave you wanting and missing a large part of life and your self. Perhaps learning to LOVE rather than just LUSTing, would do you well. Personally, love denied would e an all too just karmatic payback... *sigh* if only I were the one who the universe let dole out reward and punishment. ------------------ IP: Logged |

GameMaster: (re. Zorro) On the one hand, I can see your point of view that girls (and IMHO people of either sex, not all men are tough and strong, speaking personally here for one) need to be kept away from serious emotional dangers, but I don't see where you're coming from in implying that Zorro is plain evil. Zorro has had, by his own admission, plenty of girl trouble, and it seems to me that he is one of those cases where it is the guy who gets messed around with. Quoting Him from another thread, "you'd be surprised the kinds of experiences that help to cultivate such a spiteful being like Myself ... but if you ever get to see the world the way I do, you wouldn't be very happy either." Now, I'm not condoning what he does, but I'm just saying that sometimes, the last thing people need is to be attacked - it just adds insult to injury. He also said, "but hey, your still young. Make sure all your decisions are well thought out and maybe you will find a better path to tread upon." I find that the sad part - maybe if he were 50, 60, 70, I'd agree, but come now, Z, why've you given up all hope? Is there really no-one worthwhile in Milton? Maybe you should move, get out of Milton, maybe even Washington too, and go someplace else, someplace new, where you can put the past behind you, and start afresh. It saddens me to see someone actually give up, when they have so much of their life ahead of them, especially when they could be sharing that with someone special. I'm not as old as you, Z, granted, but I still hope; I'm only 21 and thus am not dead yet. Granted, you've tried and failed whereas I've not really even tried (which is a complex matter all to itself) but you can't quit already. You've seen, here, what nice people there are out there, proof that you don't have to give up. The only issue, I see, really, is that to carry on again where you left off, you'd need to regain that youthful passion, and if life took that from you, I don't know where to get that back. Maybe GameMaster would know about that one (being the guy with all the answers)? Oh, and GameMaster: Now, I don't mean this to sound offensive to Zorro, but maybe only a certain kind of girl actually gets involved with Zorro, and they might have a certain expectation of what it is about, or otherwise, they just plain deserve what they get. - uilleann IP: Logged |
