OK then. Still no word on how to format the geek type - I assume it just comes at the beginning as itself?

Anyhow, if GameMaster has no objections to this version, I'll amend my code on my site tonight to match.

Geek Markup Language would be abbreviated how? GML? Like IBM's General Markup Language? I do like the sound of "Geek Markup Language" though.

U, 'tis fine the way that it was.... But I'm with what ever you two decide.

Um... *feels a little flattered* ookay

I hope you're not saying that to either please or appease me, though.

My rash comment about updating my code tonight was such because it is now 3:47 am and I don't think now is a good time actually. *sings...* "Not today, but maybe tomorrow, not today..."

Not played that song in a long time...

heh, point.

Dunno, I'm not sure quite where in between someone trying their hardest to make this good for the sake of geekdom, and a bloody control freak, I come with my rants.

I still see things that I (and you) have pointed out that are not resolved - most things never change. I just wish that, even if they are to never change because they can be seen to be correct, someone would at least acknowledge that they've thought about them, so I know why, rather than just me sit there and look woesomely at it. Do you get the a déjà vu feeling right now? *sigh*

Oh well, hopefully this weekend I'll sort my code out to follow the 0-9 scale. I'd move the file off onto my ntlworld space (a. that's my official website, and b. I don't think I'll be keeping my mac.com space for very long now) but I don't want to break the link in all my posts so far.

just a note...

you can now store your code in a database, so that it is searchable by username, here: http://stonewallcs.com:83/gccdb/gcc.html
and search here: http://stonewallcs.com:83/gccdb/search.html
so what you can do is put in your code, go to the search page, bring up your username, and then copy that link, and paste it into your profile/sig
