This week has been a little crazy for us with my mom getting ill, plus we have a ton of custom beanies to ship, and Nitrozac is still swamped with a backlog of portraits... so it's retro time! This is one of my faves from couple of years ago, one that still seems timely, and one whose advice I should follow more! (Plus it was Steve Jobs's birthday yesterday!) The script is, of course, inspired by that classic SNL skit with William Shatner.
enjoy, Snaggy

When it comes to Apple, do you need to get a life?
- Um, Apple is my religion.
- Not really, my life is Star Trek.
- A Mac is just a computer.
- No, I don't need to get a life, but I'd just like to add that in a world full of mediocrity, we need a visionary company like Apple to give us direction and hope.
- I admit it, I need to get a life.
- An Apple dating site? That is going to be incredible!!

The Joy of Tech is a comic about technology and pop culture. We like to feature the people and events that are making tech news. We tend to focus on Apple news and events because they often affect the industry in general, and because we are longtime Mac users here at GeekCulture Headquarters. We create The Joy of Tech using Apple computers, mostly on our PowerBooks, running Mac OS X Tiger. We use software from Apple, Adobe, Macromedia, BBedit, and others, including Microsoft (yep, we do use Microsoft Office for Mac on occasion). Nitrozac uses a Wacom tablet to do her illustrations.
