![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Check security settings for cookie acceptance. What version and operating system? (if it's Mac, D&R) IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Oddly, i am in the oppsite spot. IE is the only web browswer that saves my cookies. Opera, and Omniweb will not. So moving to Opera may not fix the problem. Nayt ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If it's IE6, then set the Privacy setting to "low", which will block 3d-party cookies, but not cookies from the site you're visiting. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What's really weird is that I have Opera set to accept all cookies yet online stores always tell me that I need to accept cookies or that my cookie was lost. Geek Culture seems to have no trouble and usually remembers me for a while, but I've yet to find a browser that remembers who I am for an entire session on the forums. I post and it lights up the icons letting me know where new stuff is. I post again, jump up a level or two and, poof, they're all gone. Every browser I've tried manages to forget who I am: Opera on Win2K and MacOS 9, Mozilla on Win2K and MacOS X, IE on Win2K, MacOS 9 and MacOS X. The only thing left is Omniweb and browsers like iCab that I gave up on long ago, or linux and I haven't got that installed anywhere yet. I live with it. IP: Logged |
