It rocked :-) Had a good time. Hmm... Highlights

- I'm featured in Wired Magazine for being totally insane.. first in line! (see http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,49525,00.html ) they've got the article there

- I had a fun time looking for this girl as part of a joke (for the AtAT gang) (see http://www.appleturns.com/viewermail/ the last article)

- Snuck into an Apple Invitation only party, met Steve Jobs (they had Grand Master Flash as their DJ and free drinks w00t)

- Walked by Aerosmith in downtown San Fran (hmm.. look a camera... Ohh.. Steve Tyler..)

- Enjoyed the keynote! (new iMacs! new iBooks! iPhoto! but no new G5 tower? bummer)
Threw out my Resume to a few people.. (might get a callback from this Apple recruiter I think I might have made an impression on)

- Met Acaben from Macslash and chated with him and briefly ran into the other macslashin' folk ( http://www.macslash.com )

- Had a nice chat with a big cheese from the Omni Group (you know Omniweb, OmniGraffle, all that jazz)

Uhh.. oh, and I spent $300 at strip clubs... (dirty me)

Ti,

That was you!?!?!

I was right there in line with you! As a matter of the fact, you gave your resume to Timber, one of the guys I was hanging with.

I was the geek with the shoulder holster for all me gear... black hat, leather jacket...

Heh... anyway... sounds like you had a better time that I did. Although I always love going to San Fran...

I'm curious -- which club(s)? I live in San Francisco and have yet to find one that isn't either horribly expensive or too scary-looking to enter...

Club Gold on Howard, it was clean, the girls were nice... and strangely a few of them are intelligent; if you meet Rose, the Italian Linux Talking Lap Dancing Babe (ILTLDB) let her know I said hi.. she'd better remember me as the tall blue eyed kid with a Yellow Dog Linux shirt on who dropped $200 for a little good turbo linux conversation (oh.. and a few lap dances)..

Actually, we talked about you after the Keynote... He was most impressed by your energy and Mac aficianado-ness... We had also already found the Wired article to see what they said about you...

I'll point him to this thread and mention you were asking about him...

Who, for the record, was in line for the keynote behind Ti, and 3 others, since 3:30AM Monday morning.

*sighs* I wish I could go to macworld. The only kind of eventish thing that I've been to was the opening of the glendale apple store. I had my powerbook g4 and was wearing a shirt that was very similar to the employee shirt, many people thought I worked there. I answered their questions, and then told them that they should probably ask someone who actually is an employee about making a purchase .

P.S. - This is my first post ever here, just found the site a couple days ago =). Looking forward to wasting a lot of time here.
