Looking into the window approaching infinity via today's daily pics, i wonder to myself?

*Is it just me, or did I read somewhere that such optical tricks can hurt your camera*

So for the sake of Snaggy's camera and to prevent the potential end of the world via the collapse of infinity, can someone help me resolve this issue?

I think if you left a camera feedbacking for a long time, you may damage the CCD, or especially an older tube-based camera, but I've done lots of freaky feedback over the years and haven't had anything break or burn out.

Besides me.

The only way I can think of that you might be able to damage a camera by pointing it at a monitor is if the camera was incredibly sensitive to light (the one in the hubble telescope comes to mind) and the monitor was too bright for it. I don't think the CCD in a webcam is that sensitive.

It's okay OS 9 your still equal in my eyes. Just a lot LESS equal then you used to be.

It's always annoyed me that I can't see to infinity when two mirrors are placed across from each other... even if they're lined up well, my head is in the way!

Hmm.

There must be some hidden wisdom in BlueAtnoid's observation. "I can't see into infinity because my head gets in the way."

I must go meditate on that.
