Ahoy there sailors, once again I'm back... You guys probably didn't even care that I left. Well screw you! JK Any ways, I would like some help with some stuff that has been going on lately. My friend, My dance partner, is in Band, yet he denies the fact that he's a geek, and even laughs at me for doing what he call's <"Geek Association, or ""Networking"" " Whatever the He** that is, well anyways, I think that he needs some help on that subject. Well what should I do? Being in Band Automatically makes you a geek, unless of course your a Drum Major, I think. I'm not in band, but most of my friends are hence, geek association. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I use the word funnest. My recommendation: attempt a really subtle yet entertaining dis on him. My dis: I carry an old-skool sci-fi lunchbox with me (a remake, of course), and on occasion, a half-witted jock will ask: "Is that your lunchbox?" I hold it up happily and say: "No, it's a finely-tuned scientific instrument designed to attract the attention of idiots." Then I walk off. You use your dis on him, and see how quickly he responds. <5 seconds: He's really a geek (there are some non-geek band members), repeat it to him every day, and he'll believe it. >5 seconds: leave it be. -Oz ------------------ IP: Logged |

Thanks for your advice Oz. I really appreciate it, and to what you said Ilovemydaulg4 is that really true? I mean sure they might say that they aren't geeks, but you'd think that they were,, since they like doing something that doesn't have to do with gaining popularity. Which reminds me of anotherthing. Why does everyone value popularity so much.. The "Popular" people are always hated the most any way. Well g2g, ~Cya Clemmie/ Cutie / Hey you ------------------ IP: Logged |

You seem a little bitter, Is there anything that you would like to talk about, Ilove? Just wanted to know... Bitter feelings leed to anger.. Anger leads to Hate... hate Leads to Suffering... ***Watching too much Star Wars*** OH goodness, Luv ya lots, ~Cutie ------------------ IP: Logged |
