So I've kind of noticed that some of you may think that when I say some things to defend myself from recieved comments that I already realize are jokes and whatnot, you get the feeling that I'm serious. Well, I just think you should know that if I seem too moody (er, whatever), I'm just being PLAYFUL! I like myself like that. Don't take anything seriousely. Believe me, I'll really let you know when I'm kidding around...but I don't think that will be needed, seeing that you're all my big miscellaneous family . If you really knew me, you'd most likely say I was pretty rough, agressive, and opinionated. I don't take anyone's crap,...they always get something worse back from me Are any of you like me, in this respect anywho? ------------------ IP: Logged |

I do usually maintain a take-no-crap attitude, but I usually do it in a calm fashion. Being rough and aggressive will only infuriate people, and potentially get me canned. I would love to blow up at people, but I'd like to actually have some friends, so I try to avoid this. My close friends do know me to rant on occaision, though, since I'm relatively certain they'll stick around after I've blown up at the world - not them. My cow-orker drives me crazy, and I try to ignore him, but it often doesn't work. However, he's full-time, and I'm a lowly student worker, so it would be stupid of me to yell at him (though I've done mildly once - when he did something really stupid). He embraces the whole 'high five' thing (think David Puddy), and called me "four eyes," in a joking manner (he really didn't know what a wrong, cruel thing that is to say). The latter, I called him on every time, until he finally stopped, probably after the fifth-or-sixth time of me saying, "name, that's not a funny thing to say - I don't have four eyes - I have two - my glasses give me very good sight... I really don't like you saying this, and it insults me when you do this. Please stop." I felt stupid for saying this, but anything rougher than that, and I could really antagonize him, and cut down on my job security (even though I'm eminently more qualified for his job). Anyway, I think I'm getting far offtopic here, so I will say this much: I will understand your playful attitude, and assume you aren't really serious about what you say unless you disclaim it. If I make a comment following something you say, it will be assuming the above disclaimer. I have had a few frieds who maintain such a style, and I've gotten along fine with it, so there's no reason why I can't embrace it here. So take this comment with a grain of salt, from an older, miscellaneous relative (brother might be a bad comparison, since that would deem some of my comment quite inappropriate). IP: Logged |

Hey everyone, I agree with what Wen... Twinkle toes said, I don't take any crap, I'm usually the one giving it out. I don't mean to usualy, but have you ever just started talking,(after drinking 12 espresso's) and just couldn't get yourself to stop? I get in alot of trouble that way. So I have some experience with defending myself. THe classic response, "Hey, I'd be laughing too if I looked like that." or my favorite, "What was that? I can't here you over the sound of me not caring." Sure they sound simple, but if you can say them just right it's hilarious. Well that's it for now. (This is what I think of YOU, GRANDMA!!!) Inside joke. Bye! IP: Logged |

"GET THE HELL OUTA MY CAR, GRANDMA!" Hahaahahaa...Ahh, again, part of the inside joke, teeh! "YOU'RE GONNA NEED THAT TUPPERWARE!" ...and, of course, one of my all-time favorites: "There's a little man in that tampon box! Meeaahh! Get me a quarter! AAHH!" ------------------ IP: Logged |
