I think it would be great to have a collection of JoT and AY2K in hardcopy form. That way you could follow the stories from the very beginning without having to go through link after link. I've been saving the comics as PDFs and then collating them in Acrobat for my own personal perusing, but I would pay for a good softcover edition. It would be great even if it came out in comic book form. I think that would be the best way to showcase AY2K.

Try Fantagraphics or Dark Horse, they publish some good titles.

Heh, when I saw the topic in a small font, I thought it read "JoT and AY2K Boots," which is quite a possibility here .
Anyway, I would love to see books for either or both comics. I should write an e-mail to O'Reilly - the best possible publisher for things - and N+S have already had an interview there, so the foot is slightly in the door.

I never thought of them-good idea! Joy of Tech boots would be great too, maybe with Bill Gates on the sole, so I could walk all over him daily. (Oh no! There I go again.)

Y'all ought to see if O'Reilly will pick you guys up.

I know book sales are slumping these days, what with the recession and all, but After-y2k would be slam dunk for them.

My experiences with Macmillan are less favorable.

Yeah, unless you have a book guaranteed to hit the New York Times bestseller list, they don't want you. If all else fails, Nitro and Snaggy could put it out themselves if some generous rich geek is willing to front the cash. This might be the way to go, because you have complete control.

there are always small, local places which may be willing to take on someone who will get a book published that will be seen out of the county.
