i never knew that ozone was used as an alternative treatment for cancer, imagine my surprise when i met somebody over the weekend diagnosed with lung cancer last november and given 2 months to live then... looking healthy enough to run a marathon now and says he feels great. wow. thought he was having me on until i spoke to some people who knew him and verified his story, also checked out some articles on the net, and it seems research on medical applications of ozone started way back and that this treatment is pretty handy for just about anything... the learning curve just grows exponentialy with time... I may not be a biology geek, or a real huge physics geek, but from what i know the human body was designed to breathe in O2 not O3. I would think that unless the ozone was broken down into O2 you could basicly suficate in O3. Now i may be wrong, so if i am let me know. Nayt ------------------ IP: Logged |

Also, ozone stinks like a hill-billy's underpants, so it wouldn't be a very pleasant therapy. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Correct me if I'm wrong but you're body breaks O2 down into O1 so 03 shouldn't be difficult either. IP: Logged |

Well if it can break it down then that would be better. Now personally i like the smell of ozone. I have a little thing here in my room that makes ozone. It is cool, you can also shock yourself with it. Maybe that is why those guys keep looking at me through my windows. Nayt ------------------ IP: Logged |

Has anyone tried making ball lightening? One of my geek friends showed me how to do it, AND I MADE NO2! WOOP! It was really fun,...hehe, and the laughing gas smelled ever so nice . The only bad thing about ball lightening (making it) is that it'll shorten the 'life' of your microwave...but by barely anything...it won't matter for a little bit 'o the laughies, eh?? Eh!? Yes yes!------------------ IP: Logged |

quote: (... it would be a lot less interesting!) macadddikt18, if your ioniser (I'm assuming that's what it is) is actually making ozone then there is something wrong with it. On the other hand, if you actually have a device for making ozone going continuously in your room, then... that would explain a lot IP: Logged |
