This morning, two Canada geese and six gooslings camped overnight in the back yard. If you're lucky you might catch the cute live action! Go to the webcam now! IP: Logged |

I missed them....Doh! You didn't happen to get any screenshots did ya? I love canadian geese. On the other hand I hate the regular geese that inhabit the Colorado area. They'll come after you. I had triplet boys with me when one decided to come after us. Damn thing kept snappin at me so I kicked it in the head(sorry PETA...kids are more important than geese). Then the boys all went over to the unconscious bird, and they yelled "bad goose" at it... *snicker* I thought it was pretty amusing... //Thom// ------------------ IP: Logged |

oddly tonight, one of our pizza drivers hit a Canadian Goose, that was standing in the middle of the road. He could not find it, but he had feathers all over his car. our guess is that the poor thing got beheaded by the car. nayt ------------------ IP: Logged |

There is a "Coalition to Prevent the Destruction of Canada Geese." There should be a "Coalition to Destroy Canada Geese." Damn things are a pain in the butt, and in the head when they attack you ( http://www.bulletin.uwaterloo.ca/2002/apr/09tu.html ). Not to mention their crapping all over the streets, walkways, and grassy areas of my university, making every step an "adventure". IMO, there should be open season on the things between November and February.. that'll teach em to stay for the winter. </rant> IP: Logged |

That's why, in Fairbanks, we teach them to land for one day in a field, then leave. Okay, so we bribe them with food, sue me. -Oz ------------------ IP: Logged |
