after much searching and some compromising I finally decided on a new van. I found one that met My needs though it wasn't what I originally wanted. I did much resarch and found that a slightly toned down version of the van I wanted would be sufficient. I bought a 2002 Ford E-250 Cargo Van. It had the insulated cargo interior I couldn't so without and the hinged side doors. It has the metal locking bulkhead as well as a second row crew seat. I decided to go with the 5.4 V-8 over the V-10 for some savings in money and gas. It has 4 wheel antilock disks. I had never had antilocks before nor had I ever had disk brakes. Before this van My newest vehicle was a 1979 Olds Cutlass. It was already over a decade old when I bought it so this is a major step up for Me. Now all I need to do is come up with a great license plate number for My new ride........Z

I suppose "Den of Iniquity" wouldn't fit on a license plate, would it?

are you looking for a plate that shows your obsession with sex and bdsm? or just some cool plate? I would go for the latter, but that is me. See if you can get one that says "geek".

I like it that you go for a 5.4 V8 for 'economy' That's the size of a lorry engine here

Maybe you should go for a nice (but quick), little people carrier like this one ...

I got tired of dealing with used car salesmen and went for a new van. Unfortunately I had to compromise on some of My original wants so I could afford the van. Overall, I am glad I compromised.......Z

I could always put that around the plate on the cover. One Of My friends suggested I put "The Daddy Wagon" around the trim.........Z

Definately sex, The leading candidate is IBDSMDS. I Bondage, Discipline, Sadism, Masochism, Domination, Submission. not sure they will approve that one, but I have others just in case. I have a lot of time before I can splurge on a vanity plate, so I am patiently making new ideas.........Z

I guess it is just an American thing, though the younger generation doesn't seem to share the addage "there's no replacement for displacement". I grew up next to a race track and most of the people I know have large engines. The 5.4 still has the power I want but is a bit more economical than a 6.8 V-10. I will eventually acquire a small gas saver, most likely a Subaru. I'm not sure i would ever go for a Renault, they did not leave a good impression here in the states. The Le Car is still the butt of many jokes in My family......Z

Unfortunately you must explain the meaning to the person issuing your plate, it only takes one jerk down the line to have your request denied. Though I am a bit perplexed, I saw FUBAR on a plate when I first moved to the area......Z
