problems making them my butt. They are all at the apple stores. there was a few articles on the net about that. Order you mac from apple and you should have no problem getting it. Nayt ------------------ IP: Logged |

They're still having problems ramping up production. But yes, Apple is hogging most if not all of its little beauties and you can probably get one from them. /me hugs his iMac. IP: Logged |

Perhaps they underestimated the draw of a mirror on a stick.... ------------------ IP: Logged |

Nayt, while I realize that some people don't quite like the new iMacs (iLuxo ed.), I think it deserves a little more respect than that. Let's be a little more civilized about Steve's precious toy. I wouldn't buy one, but I won't say that it doesn't have some good qualities, but it's too expensive for what it is and not sufficiently expandable. (And I prefer PCs running Linux). IP: Logged |

So, it would go well with your decor? Anyway, the new iMac is incredibly popular and 3-5 week delivery is not unheard of... once again, Apple strikes the right tune in the market. Like the other stuff, they will catch up to the initial demand and then it will be great. IP: Logged |

quote: Radiation is a general term which in this case means electro magnetic radiation. The system bus of the new iMac is 100 MHz which puts it right smack in the middle of the FM dial. Try taking a small handheld radio and putting it on or around 100.1 FM and put it next to the iMac. Yes the sound you are hearing is the sound of the computer bus The FCC has those stupid "Must accept harmful interfearance" and "must not give off harmful interfearance" rules even on the back of walk-e-talkies. So its no big deal just the FCC bitching at the begining. The bigger problem is the shortage of the flat screans Aaron IP: Logged |

The new iMacs are iHard to get ahold of. Apple can't keep up with the production. There are honey bunches of oats of people trying to get one. They're back ordered for weeks. I know a friend with one that won't get his built for another month. I pity the fool. Go with an iBook. :-D ------------------ IP: Logged |
