Yes, that appears to be the idea. Of course the garden gnome in "Amelie" was sort of adopted from a prank some people played on a friend some years ago. If I remember correctly the first one was a garden gnome taken from a suburban yard in New Jersey and sent around the world with pictures being sent back to the owner from various famous places. That was the first one I heard about, and there was a farily early web page with the pictures on it. The pictures in "Amelie" were very similar to those on the old web page I remember. In fact, it was almost an exact retelling of the story except for the orgin point being relocated to France. As for you macaddikt18, what is your problem? It's a bit of harmless fun. Lighten up. His name was calvin. Well one sunny summer after noon i returned home from vacation to find my wonderfull calvin kidnapped. The kidnapper left an envlope of pictures taped to the door.
