As seen in /usr/games/fortune...

You know your apartment is small...
when you can't know its position and velocity at the same time.
you put your key in the lock and it breaks the window.
you have to go outside to change your mind.
you can vacuum the entire place using a single electrical outlet.

Thinking about some friends' apartments...

In the morning, you can make coffee, get the paper, and get dressed without having to get out of bed.
If you gain 5 pounds, you'll no longer be able to enter the "kitchenette".
Your desk chair at work is more roomy and spacious than your apartment's bathroom.

There's a rest stop (well, "view area") on I-70 in Utah where the toilets are like that.  Clever design, but lots and lots of people would have to go in, arrange the seat, back out, and back in again to use it.
