 I'm hoping that the dark green stuff is jade. What do you think it might be? the beige part gradates nicely to deep green, it's not like a vein of quartz. IP: Logged |

I think it might be soapstone, very good for carving stuff. It might help to know where you got it, what types of rock it was with, etc. IP: Logged |

I got it outside of Victoria, BC, Vancouver Island. On the beach. It's pretty. hmm, soap stone, maybe I could make a wee little carving of something.
