The Mini-Mizer is a lot of fun. I had a really ambitious idea for someone with a lot of time and skills in 3-d visualization (i.e. not me). It's very simple in concept. The system scans your body and generates a 3d surface map (there are systems that do things like this, so it's not totally a research project). It then emits detailed plans for building a life size model with Lego. Extra credit: make a robotic arm do the assembly. IP: Logged |

Cool stuff :)
Yes, I know that's a hood Im wearing but its the nearest thing there is to my hair (cf. this). I would have made one up for my workmate (who was most amused by it), but his hair isn't on there at all. - Uilleann IP: Logged |

there were some good ones on that thing for zorro. I am guessing he could make one look pretty close to himself. Otherwise i just wasted 20 min playing with that thing. it is so much fun. they just need a better way to export. nayt ------------------ IP: Logged |

greycat, the way you're holding that shield, it looks like your Lego alter ego is going into battle "sans culottes"! IP: Logged |

Well, if he wasn't wearing pants, his legs would be *yellow* instead of brown. IP: Logged |
