Hello everyone. I'm a new geek culture member. I think this is my first posting, I'm not sure. Anyways, I'm working on a project with my friends, one of which is Twinkle Toes, a.k.a. Wendy. So anyways, we have to teach the rest of our Earth and Space class a topic that we didn't get to during the school year. Our topic: the Solar System. We have divided our subject into four categories: the Sun, the planets, the moons, and asteroids, comets, and meteorites. We are having a hard time finding all of our information. We need as much info as possible to teach the class enough and get an A. Please post any information you have about any of the subjects or email them to me at or . Thank you so much in advance for any info. See ya 'round! IP: Logged |

I can't possibly believe you can't find more than enough information in a library or on the internet. Try www.google.com for a start. IP: Logged |

Try NASA site also, I think it's www.nasa.gov . Any how you may want to look at my great grandfather website, http://www.execpc.com/~dep33/ . This man has forgotten more than many of will ever know. The text is a big, but he is a relitivly "old" guy. He is partly responsible for building the first computer in Wisconsin (back when they still took us a room) and holds the copyright to te computer that tests the autopilot of the Boeing 747, although General Motors gets the royalties. You may also like to checkout www.everything2.com, and HGTTG. There is also a lot to be said for university's websites. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I was just looking around, and that site that pakratt just mentioned www.seds.org/nineplanets/nineplanets/nineplanets.html That is an amazing site. There is so much stuff on that site. You should have no problem getting enough off of JUST that site, but if you need more just go to Google and type "our solar system". //Thom// ------------------ IP: Logged |
