Ringo Starr in Victoria, BC

Nitrozac and I had the great fun of seeing Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band in Victoria...
to see Ringo perform many of his favorite songs was really wonderful, and I am so glad we went.

Matchbox, It Don't Come Easy, Boys, I Wanna be your Man, I'm the Greatest, Yellow Submarine, Photograph, Anthem, Act Naturally, With a Little help from my Friends, Give Peace a Chance, Don't Pass Me By (love that song), and more.

The crowd, very geriatric! I'm sure most would have stood up for the whole concert if they could have. :D Rock and roll never dies, it just greys away. I was sitting beside Mr. Burns, (who loved Yellow Submarine best and had a great dance move for it (that I rapidly stole)) and there were tons of hippy grannies moving and a' swaying to the music. Smiles on everyone. :-)

Todd Rundgren was also great, (I Saw the Light, Bang on the Drum, Love is the Answer) and the whole band really looked like they were having such a fun time playing up there. It was like sitting in with old friends, jamming their favorites. Yeah, there was a little too much Toto, Mister Mister, and Santana for my tastes, but hey, I'd even bless the rains of Affffricaaa to see Ringo. Happy birthday John Lennon, Peace and love, peace and love.
