Gerry Anderson has died. F.A.B. (SAD)

Gerry Anderson, the creator of Supercar, Thunderbirds, and Stingray, best known for his "Supermarionation" use of puppets, has died. He also did amazing work on many other shows, like UFO, and Space 1999. He was one of my favorite artists, and I always thought Thunderbirds was one of the greatest concepts for a TV show ever. It also had one of the best opening of all time, which you can see below...

Guest review... Uniea Colorama Folio!

Our guest reviewer Kara recently picked up a new iPhone 5, and thought she'd check out a case to protect it. Here's her story...

The Uniea Colorama Folio case provides a good amount of padding which is great for protection. It also has a lovely feel to it, that isn't overly grippy or stiff. It's super light, as to not mess with the new lighter features of the phone, and stays true to the thin and sleek figure of the iPhone 5.

The overall design is where I found flaws. The case has a flap feature, that when closed, completely covers the phone's screen. When in use, the flap must remain dangling and provides for an awkward experience. For someone like myself, who often checks their phone, it causes a bit of a hassle to constantly be opening and closing the flap. The bright, neon color is much to my liking and definitely a positive for the case, however, it was hard for me to move past the design and style of the case itself. It didn't provide me with enough individuality that I craved for my new iPhone 5. Overall Rating: 3 out of 5 stars!

Editor's Note: Kara would probably have prefered one of Uniea's more wildly coloured cases, without the front flap.

Giant wooden spheres are mega cool

Twisted Sifter has a great article on Korean artist Lee Jae-Hyo's Giant Wooden Spheres Made from Interlocking Wood. The above is a video on the creation process... some of them remind me of rubberband balls!
