Civilination trys to make the Internet a nicer and smarter place.
Ever been trolled or subjected to online abuse and/or hostility? We probably all have at some point, and it isn't fun. Now imagine an Internet where individuals can fully engage and contribute without fear or threat of being the target of unwarranted abuse, harassment, or lies. That's the goal of Civilination, a charitable organization whose mission is "to foster an online culture where every person can freely participate in a democratic, open, rational and truth-based exchange of ideas and information, without fear or threat of being the target of unwarranted abuse, harassment, or lies."
Lofty goals, but hey, The United Federation of Planets has to start somewhere!
