I just found these as links off of www.fark.com and I thought they were pretty interesting, and maybe they might help some people on this forum too. Anyway, here are the links, and what do you think about these guides?

http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~masterma/GuideToGeekGirls.html (The Guy's Guide to Geek Girls).

http://www.neystadt.org/john/humor/Girls-Guide-To-Geek-Guys.htm (The Girl's guide to Geek Guys).

I've seen those before...not much use to me, but maybe for some people...also the girls guide to male geeks isn't true for all geek guys, personally I could stand to live without star-trek...though I do like starwars quite a bit...

This guide is spot on. And yes guys .. a geek girl can look stunning when she wants to. I use the word "stunning" very carefully here. Imagine for a second that the only thing you can do when you see her is stare in slack-jawed awe. Now imagine that she dressed up like that for *your* eyes only.

Now imagine that this thought-shattering beauty likes Quake, Bruce Campbell movies, and role playing games.

Do you get the picture guys?

Given that GC has yielded, what?, two marriages and one or two very serious relationships (what happened to Wierd Arms & ARJ/Roceal?), don't forget "On Being a Geek Couple".

"So how can you tell a geek household, other than these obvious decoration tendencies? Well, a geek household is one where..."

I think my household's score reflects that my wife isn't as geeky as I am...
- one car, many computers ------- check
- obscure pet's name ------------ no
- whiteboard in bedroom --------- almost (we turned a spare bedroom into an office)
- multiple surge protectors ----- check
- categorized/alphabetized CDs -- are they even in the right box?
- programmed phones ------------- no
- numbered tape sets start at 0 - vacuously true
- ethernet cable ---------------- check

They're doing pretty well, if ARJ's blog is anything to go by, but she hasn't made the big move yet.
