We had a setback on planting this year, during the spring planting. We had a severe storm, I mean Sky Warn severe, during that storm the tractor pulling the Grain Drill (planter) got stuck. Then the spring rains kept the ground too wet, to retrieve the tractor. That was three weeks ago. Two nights ago we got the tractor and grain drill free. This morning the planting crews are here reworking the ground, plowing under the corn that was being planted, reworking the fields and planting alfalfa. They are busting their butts to get it done before Sundays predicted rain.

I have never seen implements pulled that fast.

OMG they got stuck again.

Nope they changed their mind and planted 90 day corn. It is all in and I am awaiting sprouts.

Sometimes you really just need a horse and a simple plow...

A lot of peoples' problems could be fixed by a simple plow.
