The Mrs and myself were out looking for tourists, they come up here to disturb our peace and tranquility on weekends and Holidays. Actually we only watch them as they scurry about on the Expressways and major roads looking for their camping, canoing, or the Casino. We watch them like bird watchers watch birds. They look like a string of ants zooming along the roads.
We had just crossed over into the next county south when we spotted a Brand new Combine all clean and shiny. That sucker is huge, the rear steering tires are larger than the drive tires on my tractor. There it sat in the farmers drive to the barn, maybe he may have to make the opening bigger. I did not know of any acreage large enough to support that kind of expenditure.
Combine
Any way to the Americans "Happy Independence Day."

Sorry MoMan, but my train of thought stopped right there. That just sounds wrong/evil.
But a Happy 4th, to you as well!

Dman Sorry, it is not like we hunt them. However they take over our communities every weekend during the summer. On Tuesday's they have cleared out, gas prices have gone back down and we the locals can go grocery shopping again.
Outdoor Adventures
Sunday noon is when the traffic jam starts as they all head home. So we plan our weekends to not be caught in their traffic patterns, however it is interesting to go out to an overpass and watch them. if something causes a traffic slowdown. I know how frustrating it can become to be caught out on a hot free-way in heavy traffic.
They do support many of the local business, and Sprint never would have put in the towers in this area with out all the Detroiters coming up here with their smart phones.
They are fun and amusing to watch.
