So yesterday I took part in a 799 year old tradition of dressing up in bits of dead animal, holding old mens' little fingers, and being muttered at in Latin. Yes, after four years, I finally picked up my degrees.

I'm not sure whether to be happy, or frightened as now I have to enter the big wide scary world of Real Life... [ohwell]

Congratulations Stibbons! If you fear real life try extending your post graduate studies [Smile] If PhD comics have a bit of truth from what I've read, it should be fun [Big Grin]

Define fun.

As an undergrad, I find the suffering of grad students amusing [evil]

It's musing until you become one. Then it's both painful and amusing.

I thought the grad students had it great when I was an undergrad. Then I crossed the magic line and discovered somewhere along the way I'd lost control over my destiny. This sucks. Eventually I'll get it back, but it still sucks.
