Hmmm, that would look good here beside all the crocuses coming up, and all the redwing blackbirds singing.

Oh Snaggy, why didn't you say you wanted snow.

I'm more then happy to donate all the snow on my 200 acre property. You can build yourself a nice little castle out of it.

__________________________ Based on an average of five inches, I have 18150 qubic feet of snow per acre, So Snaggy how many thousand qubic feet do you want, I am sure that stevenback7 and myself could fullfill your wildest dreams of a monster snow fort.
Maybe even build one of those ice hotels, you and Nitro could be Inn keepers.

That cold white stuff turns into water when exposed to heat, right?

I'll take as much of it as you can spare, but you'd have to pay the freight.

_______________________ Please reread the offer, I stated I may help you load. Actually due to wind and solar compaction it is close to the density of water, not all the way to ice but close. So for my calculations about 50-60 pounds a qubic foot.

_______________________ Ashitaka well if I do nothing it will start melting soon, then it will flow into the Au Sable and out into Lake Huron. This offer is for some one that wants to experience winter. Near the low spots on the property there is ground melt and refreeze, so that is ice. The frost line is coming up at least according to my friends that do constrution work. So the ground hog may have seen his shadow, but winter is fading and spring is gaining strength. So I have to get the tractor ready for the mowing season.

Mo-Man,

Five inches is what I had to shovel this morning. And the previous morning, and likely tomorrow morning.

I have forgotten what the sun looks like.

The lake did not freeze over this winter and Lake Effect is having a very bad effect on the mood.

______________________________ Colonel Panic Oh do I know that feeling. My parents were from Northern Kent County (Cedar Springs) and I still have many cousins living there, I go to visit during the summer. The parents also moved my brother and myself to Decatuer. there was a lot of snow there also, but when you're five through eight two foot of snow looks a lot bigger. Then like an idiot I went to Mich. Tech-no-logical Univ. in Houghton, Winter of 64/65 was record for snow, winter 65/66 was record for cold. That winter Superior froze over we knew it the next morning it was like someone broke the heat. Classes were called off for a couple of days, then back to school. Then once the weather broke my penchant for violating rules got me thrown out of there, my classification changed from 1S to 1A and my choice was to join the USN, not knowing that the USMC did not have it's own Medical, and I wanted to be a Corpsman.
