What the heck happened to September?

Was it just my local space-time continuum, or did everyone's month go by super fast? [cry baby]

Sorry to say, but it seems to be age related. The older you get, the faster time goes by.

Yeah, it went fast for me too. Can't say I'm gonna miss it, though; it was a crappy month for me (almost nothing to do at work, so I did almost nothing; the new dance class brought a new dancer I don't like; training didn't brought as much results as I hoped; and I felt mostly down or tired). So I hope October will bring more highlights (as in, positive things to remember and enjoy) to my life - and yours.

Actually, this month took forever, from my perspective.

I'm just finally getting caught up on work, after being shorthanded towards the middle of the month, when it's really busy anyway. On the plus side, I was best man at my brother's wedding (and I made it the grand opening of the new REI location here in Fresno, too).

September took fscking forever. I'm not even sure why it seemed so long. It just was.

I got double balance from my prepaid mobile phone, so I guess September was as twice as longer as it should for me.

I'm watching the tracking on a $8k certified check as it makes its way to its destination. The past few days have seemed very slow...

Snaggy, aren't you a couple of months off-target ?

Snaggy ___________________________ When I worked third shift, I used the excuse that because those of us in the dark were going faster than those in the daylight, because of the Earths rotation. that time for us up and working, that time slowed down.

Now however because of much more free time to observe because of being retired. I have come to the conclusion that time is variable, in inverse proportion to how much fun you are having. Having a lot of fun time speeds up, bored s*****ss and time really tends to slow down and maybe stop or backup.

I think that everone has their own time space continumun, that said I felt some days in Sept went really fast while others dragged on forever.

Or, as most people put it, "time flies when you're having fun".

My September went by quickly. Only three more months and I'm completely done with my coursework. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

That is true on short term, but when days go by without anything to distinguish them from the previous ones, they become one melted mass of boredom, and the lack of souvenirs from individual days makes one feel they missed some - or many. (Of course, being overworked can do the same; but instead of a melted mass of boredom, you get a melted mass of no fun. [Razz] )

Wait, it's September already?

[Checks Calender].

No, it's October. When did September happen? I was still in August until just now.

I dislike Septembers. Mostly because it is the first month back to school and the first couple assignments are never as good as you want them to be because you've been sleeping for two months.

Nine months to go before I'm finally done high school. I really hope it goes by quick because these days everything seems like it is just a repeat of what I've done before.

Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. [Wink]

Time flies by when I am busy doing something but slows to a pace so slow that a snail outraces it when I am bored. As a point of illustration, set an alarm for 5 minutes and browse the web or read a book or do anything you like. The time will go by fast. Spend another 5 minutes just looking at the timer and it will take forever. So in essence September must have been a busy month for you Snaggy.
