To protest the lack of world peace and as a sociological experiment, I am now cutting my sandwiches in an asymmetrical manner.

Behold....

Ok... so I see brown bread, but I don't see any leaves or veggies sticking out between the slices. Is someone just pretending to eat healthily? [Wink]

Wow, I must be a total weirdo, because I've always cut my sandwiches that way, and so have the rest of my family. I always thought that was normal. [ohwell]

In the sandwich are slices of a very yummy vege pate.

I skipped any veggies due to it being my breakfast. It was so good, that I made another for lunch. Cut exactly the same. [Smile]

hurra for being a non-conformist by purchasing precut, plastic packaged square bread. (thought ) you do get some points since it is not white bread.

To protest the need to create two halves from a whole, I don't cut sandwiches.

Hmmm... objective unbiased unabashedly scientific studies show that cutting your sandwich diagonally makes it taste better.

Think of what you're missing.

You wouldn't question science, would you!?!?

But diagonal cuts are cutting against the grain.

Don't malign my beloved wheat bread as merely the choice of the health nut. [Mad] [Wink]
Assuming they're the same level of quality, wheat bread always makes for a better sandwich than white.

Technically, the grain in bread is circular. Much like that of a tree... Oh wait. That was a pun... HAHA.

Personally, I have't bought plain white bread (enriched or otherwise) in ages! Usually it's something like honey oatmeal or 12-grain, or even pumpernickel! Recently I did buy something labelled is cibatta but it really wasn't cibatta I've had before but it did make for a nice salami, tomato and mozzarella with pesto sandwich!

I had a friend who had a dog with no nose - true story. It was stung by a wasp, got infected and fell off.

Apparently he smelt terribly.
