Two Words: Black. Knight.

Oh and these words of course...

"Look you stupid bastard you've got no arms left!"

"yes I do."

"Look!"

"Tis but a flesh wound."

If you watch 'The History Of NASA' backwards, it's about a space agency that has no manned spaceflight capability, then does low-orbit flights, then lands on the Moon.

Actually, I think you might find there are more than two words: "penguin on the telly," "that parrot wouldn't vroom," "shrubbery," "suspenders and a bra," "deadly joke," "my hovercraft is full of eels," "chest, drawers," "no, this is abuse," and "it's," just to name a few.

Thankfully, the local Public TV station has began running Monty Python again. At the same time that they first showed it way back in the late '70's! [thumbsup]

(Threadjack:) BBK! You are back, or just found an internet cafe on your way? I was just writing I was missing you!

(Back on topic:) So I guess I should get myself a copy too? [blush] (It's on my list, I swear! I've just had a few unexpected expenses that delayed me from buying some toys: Wii, X-files seasons 2 and up, new anime, etc.)

I seriously hope so. I don't know yet for this week-end (I'm going to see my parent's for father's day, I still have to decide if I get there on Friday night and go practice in-line skating on Saturday, or if I get there Saturday morning; then we could meet for lunch). If not, then in July, for sure. I'll let you know.

(continued hijacking of thread)

How about looking further ahead and planning a GC meet? See if we can get some GC'ers in the general geographic area to come up for a visit! [Big Grin]

Then I'll probably go to Montreal specially for it, rather than make it a stop on my way. Hey, gotta show the place to the tourists, won't we?

(I'll post the potential dates as soon as I am home - I have to check a couple of things first.)

"Bring out your dead!"

A few weeks ago my 12-year-old clublet said "Hey daddy! We're not the only wackos that like Monty Python!"

"No?" says I.

"No, Emma watches it, Marley watches it, ..."

It warms my heart to see the youngest generation ready to carry the torch [Smile]

Whoop-whoop! GC generation gap alert! We who watched MPFC on PBS in the 70s (US), as GMx mentioned, and those who have only seen the Holy Grail...

Video of some full shows here. There's probably more on Google Video. Enjoy!
