There are so many types of them... But in this case I'm talking about forums...
In my case I've only had a topic with more than 50 replies, which IMHO makes me a one-hit wonder in GC forums.
So what do you think about it, are you a one-hit wonder? Any thoughts about it?

But how often do you post new topics? I wouldn't say you're a one hit wonder, you just don't post much.

So far as I know, I'm a 0 hit wonder
As are most GC posters, FYI. 50 replies is quite a run.

yay 1154 is my current best topic - but it all depends on quality i would rather read a 10 post topic then a 50 post one where the replies become boring, tedious, and un interesting

I'm coming into my groove, but it's possible that my one hit will be this one project I've spent a decade on. Not sure what to do after it, really.

Agreed. There are posters who rarely actually start threads (spungo comes to mind) but are far from 'one-hit-wonders'. And sometimes it's not the initial post which makes a thread an interesting or funny one, but the responses or threadjacks . That's what I love about GC - there's no reason to skip any thread, no matter how meaningless the topic title, because you never know what lurks within .
As for me? I think I peaked somewhere around July 2002 ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

I think I've started 4 or 5 topics in the last couple years. It's not a contest, so there's nothing to worry about.

I do better at replying to topics than actually starting any. My one attempt got all of one reply.
I too check the current GC topics because you never know what to expect.
Sometimes they're and sometimes they're and sometimes they're and sometimes they're .
But that's just me being .

In fact, my only hit topic was my second post.

Now that is just evil, and probably irresponsible.

Nah, it's easily answered in one post.

I don't think I've had any hits in this forum. But it would help if I posted here more often.
