Well my son has finally decided on his costume for this year. I am relieved and exhausted because this is almost as important as Christmas to him and has been a 3 month issue for him.

I thought he had settled on a mom and son costume. He wanted to be a bug and me a can of bugspray. Then he progressed through several other ideas. Superman, Ghostboy and Blue were biggies here and there. Earlier today he announced that he was going as an underwear model. Sigh.

At the store tonite he picked a cleaver and a jason mask. I tried to talk him into the cute pastel fairy wings with wand also. I told him he could be a zombie fairy slice and dicer but he didnt go for that idea unfortunately. It would have made great blackmail material for the teen years.

We turned the corner and there it was. His ultimate costume. Robin, the teen titan. Finally the quest is done. I told him my cut of the loot for doing all this for him is 3 out of every 4 Reeses cups. hehehe

I just threw this out after seeing Calli's Shhhhh thread. This is why I have not been posting as much. My life is just plain old mommy boring lately, but there you are calli. [Wink]

Boring?!! A cleaver, jason mask and possible fairy wings are hardly boring! [Big Grin] (although I really liked the bug and bugspray, idea. Funny.)

But on behalf of your son, I must protest. Three out of four Reeses cups is totally unreasonable! [Big Grin]

At least you're not going after the Junior Mints. [Wink]

No Steen, I am not going as Raven. My son has finally realized he is in 1st grade and he has patiently and oh so kindly explained to me that he is no longer a baby but a BIG BOY so I can walk near him, but not dress up or hold his hand unless we are crossing the street. [shake head]

oh, and peebs, Junior mints are yummy but it is the reeses me and my son wrestle for. Amazing isnt it how much better candy tastes when you send your children out harvesting? [evil]

You could go as Quoth, E. A. Poe's famous raven. [Razz]

I plan on going to my school's halloween costume as a T4 bacteriophage ^_^.

A really easy idea for a costume would be an op-amp. Just wear a big black piece of cardboard and have silver things covered in aluminum foil coming out of the sides.

Please do not be alarmed, remain calm. Do not attempt to leave the dancefloor. The DJ booth is conducting a troubleshoot test of the entire system. Somehow, while the party was in progress, an unidentified frequency has been existing in the system for some time. And while many of you have been made too brainwashed to comprehend, this frequency is, and has become a threat to our society as we know it.

This frequency has been used by a secret society in conjunction with Lucifer to lure and prey on innocent partygoers. With hypnotism, syncroprism, tricknology, lies, scandal, and pornography. While the party is still in progress we will keep you updated on our current status.

We repeat, this is only a test, this is only a test. This station in conjunction with other airwave announcements will conduct this exact test without prejudice, under the jurisprudence of the soul, the mind, the body, the positive, the negative, the ground, the proton, the neutron, the electron, the ying, the yang, the young, the sun, the moon, the star.

This is only a test.
