I have been recording a lot lately and have put together an album. With hope, I can find someone to put it out. Until then, I've put up 6 songs from the album. That's about half of what is on the whole thing. I played everything (jack of all trades, master of none), except the drums and percussion, where I used loops. That was much easier in the case of percussion. Why take the time to record yourself banging on a tambourine when you already have a loop of it? In the case of drums, I don't have a kit, and I live in an apartment where the neighbors wouldn't be too happy about hearing all that banging.

It's called Kerry. You can download the tracks here.

I don't know how to describe what any of the songs sound similar to, just to give you a reference point. It's has elements of electronica, in that it has synths on some tracks and some of the drum parts have that kind of dance feel, but there's also elements of country, folk and rock. [Smile]

Back in my day, we had a 28.8k connection that only gave 3k, max! And we liked it.

I'll give those tracks a shot when I get home, GMx. [Wink]

GMx - I've downloaded the first one, and it sounds really good. I will definitely check the other tracks out when time permits. [Big Grin] [Applause] [Applause]

I like what I've heard (despite the cruel anti-PC-user-trick [Razz] ), so I'll play some on my show next week.

Started something new. So I've posted two new tracks from it here. One's an original called "Dig" the other is an old Jim Reeves song called "There's A Heartache Following Me".
