So some people here remember me from some time ago. But I've been MIA for a couple months now. Almost a year. Just thought I would post an update on my life for what has happened in the time I have been away.

First I moved to Sioux Falls SD. Posted a couple times there then started working strange hours. Then I got married and for some reson a live in GF and a wife that is the same person really is not the same person. So we moved back here to MN. After a few months we decided it's just not working. So we are getting a divorce. I am hopfully moving next weekend. I'm at my old job again so can post on here when I'm at work and will have more time at home. I'm taking the PC (Customer built) and the iBook with me and all the networking stuff. She is keeping the Mac Mini. I also get to keep the laser printer(She wanted it but I bought it before we where married) and she gets to keep the inkjet. So once I get all my other computers out of storage I should have quite the set up at my new place. 3 macs 1 Winblows pc (For my games) and 1 SuSe linux box.

But as far as relationaships go I think I will be taking a break for a little bit. I think I've jumped into them way to fast. According to my shrink (See what all the bulling in High school does) I'm female dependent. So I need to take time for myself. And that includes you guys here on GC.

I am kind of excited about getting my own place. I've either lived with family, A girlfriend or a wife my whole life. Never by myself. Finally get to have all my computer stuff out and without someone saying "Do you really need all of this out?".

It's too bad to hear about your impending divorce. Hopefully everything will be good in the end.

Good luck on the move, and welcome back to GC. I certainly remember you.

We are still going to be really good friends and have agreed to live close (Mostley due to the child) Her scheduel is a mess so I will get to see him just about every day. I couldn't do the every other weekend thing. And the other child is from a previouse relationaship and stays with me. I got custody of him in 2000

Hi Mac D

I joined GC while you were off exploring the relationship thing - sorry to hear that it didn't work out.

I look forward to hearing more from you in the future - and I hope things settle down for you at home. [Smile]

Mac D,

You were a regular and a SuperFan (I was intrigued with your caffeine molecule Avatar) when I registered in December of 2004. I remember when you moved to SD and the job change.

I'll add my condolences regarding the demise of your marriage. I can't identify personally, (having been married to the same woman for nearly 36 years - happily), but know enough divorced folks to know it is no picnic. It seems you are seeking help to find solace and peace in your present circumstances and that the result is a positive attitude. [thumbsup] Great!

"Life is easy." Just ask anyone who hasn't lived it. [Big Grin]

It is very good to see you back on these boards. Keep on keeping on, dude. [Wink]

Unless your -ct- where catostrophic things seem to happen when you are here.

Anyways, welcome (back) Mac D. I too wasn't here during your reign but you must have been a rather well respecting member of this forum for the welcome back posts I see in this thread.

My name is Alfrin, I am at your service.

Welcome back, Mac D! [Smile]

Sorry to hear that life dealt you a rotton, underhanded, sneaky, sucker punch. You seem to be dealing well, though, so there's a silver lining.

Good to have you back.

Hey Mac D. I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting you before.

So welcome back!!!
