I am going with the kids to a picnic on Saturday. And gonna do more family stuff on Sunday. Somewhere in the middle of that, I will try to finish an engine teardown I started a couple of months ago. And I will also try and start on a rabbit hutch for my oldest's new pet.

Who knows I might finish something. [Big Grin]

What are all y'all up to this weekend?

Tomorrow will probably be spent finishing of the damned year book for college, then maybe mowing the lawns etc if the weather holds up. Sunday is baseball day, unless its raining which seems likely at the moment, and then I'll install Slackware 10 on this PC.

Not exactly the most fun weekend, as all my friends are either on holiday or working odd shifts so nothing can really be organised. Hopefully we'll all be ok on Monday to go and see Fahrenheit 9/11 and/or Shrek 2, so thats something to look forward to.

I'll be spending the weekend playing Call Of Duty with a friend over his LAN.

I have no idea what I will be doing over the weekend, but whatever it is it is sure to be interesting as my girlfriend is up for the summer and we will be going out clubbing tonight.

A new house - cool. Share some pictures.

I am hoping to go to Babcock and do some hiking. Please don't confuse this with strenuous activity. Meandering is probably a better description. [Smile]

Saturday I'll be sleeping in and maybe going hiking in the park. Sunday I'll have to be at work at 6:00am to set up next week's ad. This weekend I also get to decide if I want to stay at Sears or go somewhere else. Personally, I am leaning toward not working at all and going to school full time in the fall.

Busy socialising one for me. Lunch with friends tomorrow (Saturday), birthday party tomorrow night, lunch with other friends on Sunday, church Sunday night. Plus domestic stuff in between times.

Sometimes I'd much prefer the quiet weekends though (dman, the doing nothing weekend has its place, don't knock it [Smile] )

Edit: Actually, technically, today is Saturday. But I haven't gone to bed yet, so I still think of it as tomorrow [Wink]

Dealing with my EMI problem. Other than that, for ONCE I'll be doing nothing. The last few weekends have been spent either unpacking, moving, cleaning, painting, etc. This weekend will be for ME damn it!

I will be...

  • making bracelets from the new rocaille beads I bought the other day
  • learning my mother's not-so-secret recipe for the best chicken curry in the world (no really, trust me)
  • buying new shoes - Converse Chuck Taylor's or black knee-high leather boots? Haven't decided yet...
  • going to visit my Grandmother and popping by Middlesborough Mela at the same time
  • playing badminton...lotsa badminton!
  • persuading my father to get my brother's old guitar down from the shelf so I can start to learn how to play

It sounds busy... but it's really not [Smile]

Well, if one is to be technical, Saturday isn't for four more hours, Zulu time.

Yeah they are making them again. The ones they make now are not like the chucks from old. But, they have limited edition one's out that do. Never cared for them myself. Give me a pair of 10 hole Doc's with the old style sole.

Me too, though it is rare for me to get any. Neither my wife or kids will eat it.
