Listen up girls! This is actually a serious post.

My wife & daughter recently visited H. M. The Queen's Ye Olde Undie Shoppe. They both found, like nearly everyone who goes there, that they were wearing bras that were the wrong size. Most females wear a bra with a chest size that is quite a bit too big, and a cup size that is similarly too small. Wearing one that is the right size not only makes you and your clothes look better, but is much more comfortable, and better for your posture too. The nitty gritty of it is, that it is the band around your chest that should provide nearly all the support, not the straps over your shoulder. My wife who thought for the past 30 odd years that she was 38B discovered that she was actually 34D. The difference for my daughter was similar, and they both look and feel more comfortable and confident now. Knowing the correct size is obviously only the starting point, as like shoes it is a very individual thing, but it is still useful.

So next time you buy a bra, try some on with a smaller back and bigger cup size. It might improve your life. Maybe not a lot, but a bit anyway.

Interesting choice of words there, since a lot of larger bust sized women complain about back pain. Far be it from me to discourage anyone from large breasts if they want them, of course [Big Grin]

That's very interesting advice, Calli. I had no idea such a problem existed (and it's so important to keep abreast of things). [Wink]

Yeah, you're right. Apologies - I'm not really with it, right now. I've just had too much coffee today...( but I guess that's better than being underwired. )

Uh, actually, Cal is right. I know I'm opening myself to a lot of comments with this reply, but a professional fitting is a very good thing. And it should be repeated with changes in age and weight, and if a woman gets pregnant.

When I was pregnant... no, wait, I'll save that story. [Wink]

Come on then get those puns of your chests.

A woman walked into a cocktail bar, took one look at the drinks menu and asked the barman for a Double Entendré.
So he gave her one

Just be glad this isn't fark.com, otherwise your profile would suddenly be getting a lot of hits based on that comment [Wink]

Perhaps, but post-breast feeding, not all gain is permanent.

Now, if it were fark, someone would have doled out the hero tag to industrialdoll posts and posts ago.

That's why you have multiple kids close together. [Wink]

(Actually, I've heard of someone who was getting his wife pregnant mainly for the aforementioned side effects [shake head] )

There are nine different jokes that could have been made here...but Druid lactate.

Just as well; one shouldn't milk a joke, if one wants to put one's breast-feed forward.

/yes, I borrowed these puns from Spider Robinson
