Yup it's a return of the thread about a cover version.
Anyway how's about a 14 year old Irish girl with braces, a ukelele, a rather lovely voice, and Hey Ya?
If she doesn't melt your heart, (well maybe you've had enough of cover versions?) perhaps this French Railway ad might cheer you.
If neither of those work, you must be having a normal day

/me is smiling already at the start of first video.
...then again I'm a bit to partial to uke covers.
Nicely done -- both her, and you for the hat tip!

____ Just thought I would use the WAY-Back-Machine.
Burma Shave with the Statler Brothers.
I am only sending this to my 'special friends' because most folks under 50 would have no idea what I am talking about.. 'Too bad they missed it!'

No topic involving ukulele covers is complete without an appearance by Molly.

Another cover version thread - YAY!
Orla on the uke - very impressive... the kid has a great voice (I found some of the comments underneath her video a bit worrying as she is clearly only a kid). This is my current favourite Hey Ya cover version...
La Machine ŕ voyager Excellent advert, and a cover of Japanese Boy - totally unexpected.
dragonman97 - I like your selection, but if you want to rock the uke it has to be Motorhead
TheMoMan - your offering was very educational to a Brit like me. In return, I would like to suggest the English equivalent: the references range from immediately post-war to the early Seventies... 200 Remembers
GrumpySteen - Tom Lehrer, played on the ukulele by a talented and cute ladyperson. Ticks A LOT of boxes for me.
People - more good covers please...and I will end this post with one more recommendation - honouring the current ukulele vibe (and forgive me if I have posted this previously) Psycho Killer

Ooh...Amanda Palmer!
Since Creep has generally gotten a tad too much airplay (so sayeth Thom Yorke), I tend not to deliberately seek it out. Her cover, as linked by NYT, is awesome!
