Reinstalling EP7 for the 10th or 11th time. Grrrr. I hate SAP's lousy installers.

The monotony of this job got to me, so I found a new one. I'll be working for an ebusiness company in downtown Toronto that writes ebusiness software for some pretty huge (household name) companies. I'm excited as all hell.

Being delighted that although the United States booksellers are complete and utter pricks, the international market has picked up Beneath a Sunless Sky and ran with it.

I've been resisting the temptation of posting 'til my "vacations" are over, but now I'm doing nothing but posting in the GC forums, just got breakfast here and watched a pair of Duran Duran videos. I'm waiting for May 18th, also.

Listening to my boyfriend's sister's music off her myspace page (damn good if you like bittersweet, folky stuff). Drinking tea. Putting off beginning a 4000 word essay about representations of Pandora in literature and art (which has to be done by tomorrow morning).

Getting ready to sort through about 200 railroad photos I took
yesterday and nursing the nasty sunburn I didn't think about on
a chilly spring day until my bald spot started hurting...

I love railroad photos!!

I'm still cleaning the kitchen - 6 hours or so and counting. Scrubbing, polishing, scraping, etc. Getting grout clean is my personal fav - I hate no idea who came up with the idea of using a porous surface on a kitchen counter. I mean, nothing ever gets spilled in a kitchen, right?

At work and moping. My brother graduated Friday and moved out this morning. It was rough. I tried really hard not to start crying in the parking lot, but I failed.

The silly thing is I'm going to see him again in about twelve days, so it's not like we've parted forever or something like that. I'm even used to him being gone in the summer, since he only lived with me when school was in session. But he's not coming back, at least not to live, and I've been cracking up over that all day.
