From Jack Nicholson's opening lines to the film's final shot Scorcese gives us a violent and darkly humorous look at the underworld.

It's a non-stop thrill ride that reaches up your backside, grabs your insides and slowly twists the juices out of you until you're as dry as yesterday's lime.

This is one of the few star-studded films that was worthy of all the stars who lined up back to back to give riveting performances.

Any male geek in here over 30 and not married must see the driving range scene, just to know what folks are saying when you'e out of the room. It's just plain damn funny.

Watch it. Dont' try to make a mental excercise of it -- Scorcese won't give you time. It's a 2 and a half hour film and it goes by quickly.

Four Stars

Leotardo gets a much-needed hole in the cranium, what more can you ask for? If you haven't seen the movie yet, don't read the previous sentence [evil]
