I for one dislike it, yet this season has been addictive... its got most of everything in right amounts. From the annoying people that you want to moan about to others, to the different tasks and challenges to the gossip inside.
BB definitely struck the right balance of intrigue, if you miss a week of it you begin to wonder what the heck is going on, as an example I missed some episodes, and next thing I knew they were all dressed up as pirates, and then I missed a few more and saw the secret garden and that caught my attention, missed a few more, and then woss her face is telling everyone she is preggers... I missed the first sex on tv!
I feel very sad now, like I just admitted to watching star trek or something to my girlfriend.

I don't like watching it - it's nasty TV, and I don't like their voices.
It does make me happy that it's there, though. I don't know why, but anything that gives the impression of a society slowly falling into decadence makes me really happy. As if something's changing.
I guess it just reassures me that we're not all going to be perfect in the future, Brazil-style. That's why I like films like Akira.
Plus, BB has awesome music and great graphics.

Big Brother is the beginning of the end...
It is the modern equivalent of "Bread and Circuses" A sop to keep the populace busy so they don't notice society crumbling around their ears.
I hate it and everything it stands for - cheap, mindless, schedule filling trash - creating 15 minutes of fame for a succession of weak willed freakshow rejects prepared to debase and humiliate themselves in search of "celebrity"
/climbs down off soapbox
/Fetches coat
