SHE SAID YES! [Big Grin]

She also said she's busy this week, and could possibly make it Friday afternoon. She also used the phrase "I would enjoy that though, it shall be fun." [Big Grin]

Good to hear, MMKK. I couldn't offer any advice, as I had a similar experience once that did not go as well. (After a conversation, I realized it seemed like she was dropping some hints, so I checked with a friend, and she agreed. I had a directory with her email address, so I sent a message, but she replied and said she was already in a relationship.) I didn't want to discourage you, so I kept that one to myself until there was news.

Update: Her Friday was kind of hit-or-miss, she didn't know if she had band camp all day or not. She said that Tuesday would work well any time before 7:30PM. Since I'm heading west for the holiday (which made Mom very happy), I e-mailed back and told her that we should do Tuesday at 4:30, so that's the plan. [Big Grin]

Tonight's the big night. Maryanne and I had a long facebook chat last night. I was supposed to be in bed by 10, finally went at midnight. [Smile]

Our casual chat helped put my nerves at ease. I think we're both really into each other. [Big Grin]

Edit: 5 hours, 11 minutes and counting...

[Big Grin] [Big Grin]

I just got home. I'm hot, I'm sweaty, my heart is pounding, my knees are shaking.... And still neither of us need to go to confession. [Smile]

She won the mini-golf.

I can say that I'm glad I took the bus, and that she found the camper top to be very comfortable. I will also point out that the only clothes that left our bodies were shoes and socks. Bare feet are more comfortable.

We talked a lot... a whole lot. Being a gentleman, that's all I can tell about; but I know we will be seeing each other again.

All in all, a very good, but strange first date. [Smile]
