Hi! I'm Rich; I'm new here.
I don't recall how I found my way here, but it seems friendly enough!

I suppose I should ramble about me now?
I'm in the UK, 22, working as a Producer for a company that makes mobile phone games (for 3 years now), and I like all sorts of media, and travelling, and the usual stuff. And I am of course an Internet addict.
I'm suspicious of people who don't like chocolate.

Anyway, hello again, and I'd better get back to work...

Then you can trust me all the way - I am a chocolate addict.

Welcome, Rich. I'm in a bit of a hurry, so I'll let others explain you the kitchen rules (coffee, bagel, sweets and alcoholic beverages).

The bong doesn't belong to the kitchen, so no, I didn't forget it. [Big Grin]

Hi RichB - welcome [Smile]

Keep an eye out for the Grammar Nazis and the Spelling Police... they tend to appear from nowhere [Wink]

Other than that, and the odd slander-fest, it's a pretty chilled place. Enjoy your stay.

Hi Rich!

I am not only a card-carrying member of the Grammer Nazi party, I also an an Undercover Spelling Officer of the American English branch.

Of course, seeing as I am mired deep in the bureaucracy, I spend my time navel-gazing and writing emails with complete words.

So, you're safe.

Hi Rich!

The bagel in the fridge that keeps itself remarkably fresh is Stevenback's, I am brewing a pot of Gevalia, and the donuts are free for the taking, but leave a chocolate frosted one for me, please.

Hope you have a good time here.

Cheers! [Smile]

No such thing I'm afraid - Dewey signed you off the international program(me) without a disk(c)ussion. Since then it's been downhill thr(o)u(gh)out the 20th century.

Oh, and Hi to RichB from Rich, also in the UK. Hmm, when I was your age you were one. That's not good (for my self-image as a young person).

Hi RichB!

Welcome.

Most times things are very friendly. I can be a bit of a grump when it comes to one of three things: 1) Righties, 2) I forget, somebody remind me. 3) Video Games.

I'm sorry about that third thing, but Bob's your uncle, you know.

I just got a notice that I will be serving jury duty in a couple of months, so since you write video games you might want to avoid committing a crime around where I'll live, because you'd have to be guilty, writing video games and all for ...

Oh, THAT'S RIGHT, the second thing is CELL PHONES!

Sorry, RichB, say hi to you're Uncle for me.

Irony noted. What's funny is that 'grammar' is a constant have-to-correct for me. I know it's '-ar', yet I most often type it '-er'.

Think of it as a little feature. [Wink]

Excellent; I think I've got a good idea how to survive here, now.
So, I'll need to defend the left handed minority and my chocolate, avoid the coffee, check my spelling, and not mention the war or my job again. [Razz]

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! [Smile]
