G'day Bridget,

Welcome to the fabled Geek Culture, where all are geeks and Schrodinger's equation is cat + hammer = meow.

Perhaps you can help me, I'm having a little trouble with my Klingon...oh, wait, that's a universal translator. My mistake.

Anyway, grab a stool, shoot some pool and look like a fool.

Welcome, Bridget!

So you talk to a French man? What's his name? [Big Grin] (Well, I'm a French speaker, and "Je parle au Français" means just that: "I speak to a French man." I guess you meant "Je parle français.") Ah well, that's Geek Culture - any thing cultural can be turned geeky!

Coffee, alcool, other substances, and usually some nice things to eat are all around, just ask if you don't find what you want.

Bienvenidos.

I always have envied those who seem to have an easier time learning languages than I do.

Hello Bridget. Enjoy your stay.

It's surely a trick, Jace.

Welcome aboard the, um, board, Bridget. I vaguely recall a few instances where a translator was (or would have been) handy. By the looks of things you'll fit right in around here.

What part. I'm constantly in and/or around the Florida area. As it seems, business will be taking me that way quite a bit here in these next few months.

Why wouldn't I ride in the car with CT? Are they that bad of a driver? :)I don't think I can understand your second language at all, but hey, cheers!

p.s. Thanks for the compliments! My head's not going to fit through the door pretty soon.

Bridget, since I've been here -ct- has had at least three vehicles wrecked in crashes, and has been involved in various other auto-related "incidents". I wouldn't necessarily say he's a bad driver, but if he's a good driver he has awful luck [Wink]
