Welcome to GC, Cathy! This place is incredibly entertaining, and, on some occasions, theraputic!

And, sorry, not interested purchasing you....I have enough money invested in my son's college education, the demands of a 15 year old daughter, and a wife who REALLY REALLY REALLY needs me to paint, strip wallpaper and hang curtains! ROFL

Very true.

Actually, I'm not hooked on money at all. I just like to joke about it!

Money is fine so long as it sits there doing nothing. When a friend lost $15,000 I was traumatised.

You should have told me you have a problem in that department. I think you should contact your local war memorial and see if they will lend you a canon.

A catapult would be nice too.

Oh yeah, thanks for the welcome messages everyone - I can handle it. I'm insane! [Razz]

Not sure the local war memorial would be much help there, it is a large lump of stone and as such tends just to sit there.

I'd have to disagree, Alephcat.

Note that there is a war memorial, complete with cannon in the background.

Excuse me, but the lady was talking to me, already. Nice memorial, csk, but hardly nearby if you live where I do. Alephcat is almost right (as he's just down yonder road from me), except he's forgotten that the town memorial was nicked the other night by some local joy-riding youffs, who tore it around town before leaving it in the woods ablaze. (This is Merseyside, after all.) [Wink]

yours may have been spungo, but the one near me is still firmly stuck in the ground (if you do not beleive me just drive along Hoole road), oh, and csk, all there is behind mine are trees (or road depending on which way you look at it).
