[blush] After a few months of non-posting that maybe I should apologize but there have been some recent developments that i figured I should share with everyone here. The first is that, after a three year sebaticle, I'm finally returning to college to complete my computer science degree.
And now the painful part (the reason I've been gone for so long.) Deeeeeeeeepp breath. OK, first of all several months ago I was diagnosed with major clinical depression. That in and of itself was bad enough. Following shortly on the heels of that was the sudden loss of my uncle Ron. He had a blood clot in his brain that, to illustrate the point, was like firing a bird-shot shotgun shell. Basically, it broke apart into several small fragments and logged itself in various portions of his brain throwing him into a 9 day coma before finally killing him. A few weeks after that, my aunt Polly went to the doctor about all the weight she had been losing recently. Turns out that when she had her histerectomy an artery that controlled the blood flow into her intestines had been pinched closed causing her intestines to begin dying and rotting. Since then she has had several portions of her intestines removed and the good parts sown together. However she cannot eat and has not actually eaten in three months but rather has had a tube inserted directly into her intestines to which she attaches a bag of some kind of fluid to feed herself. And last but not least my sister has been locked in the loony bin for the last two weeks.
So it's been nothing but fun, but I hope to be returning in force very shortly. Thanks for understanding.
Sean

Hi Chump,

So sorry to hear of your family's heartbreaks.... Life seems to pile them on every now and then.

It's great to see you back, and I am glad you have the depression diagnosed. That's a huge step. And Magnificent Valour on your return to school!

Thanks for dropping by. Sorry it had to be for bad news. I know all about depression, it's rough but it does get better. There's always going to be bad days now and then, you just need to find the way to cope with them. [Smile]

Ouch...it sucks when life just throws you curve balls all at once. Best of luck. Stay strong.
