Red just finished tiling this shower.
a little background, from the IRC channel...

Rednivek: my shower wall caved in... i couldnt find matching tiles... so i created a mural instead.

Snaggy: Rednivek: " my shower wall caved in" ... care to explain how that happened?

Rednivek: yes, where that new tile is in the centre was a soap dish which was leaking

Rednivek: and it undermined the drywall beneath and i didnt know that...
Rednivek: the soap dish fell off... so i went to put it back and felt all these loose tiles... started pulling... and pulling... finally half the wall is in the bathtub.

And that is the rest of the story...

... and I was in IRC and felt that I needed to see Red's picture so I finally sent in my Superfan subscription! I also did it for the avatar. I guess this means I'll actually have to post now.
Anyway, hello! I'm enjoying catching up on all the good juicy stuff that has been going on in here. [Big Grin]

Haha, I guess so, but I just don't know why anyone would live anywhere else [Wink] .

Soap dishes are often problematic. In our first apartment my wife broke the dish off the wall by resting her foot on it. That ended the sex right there. A few months later, in another apartment, we did it again. Some people never learn.

Rednivek: LOL! Great shot! I've got a really, really, really, good idea for your shower!; tile it with JoT tiles, I'll make your toon into a tile for you if you want. [Big Grin] Or, if you have any special requests. If I tile a washroom, or kitchen, I'd try and use those.

JessyCat: Wow! Lookin' Hot! and that's hard to do in an avatar. [Eek!]

Quantum: Wow! You had sex with your wife!? hee hee. [Big Grin]

Thanks, Nitrozac!
Actually, it's easier to look hot in an avatar. Much less primping time needed. And pixels are verrry forgiving. [Smile]

Actually, I have seen Jessycat and she looks very much like that avatar...

As for soapdishes... my new mantra in the style of Joan Crawford is "no more soap dishes attached to the drywall!".... along other lines learned from buying this house... "no more wallpaper!"

As opposed to your previous Joan Crawford mantra of "Christina! Bring me the axe!" [Wink]
(We still want to see the "before" photos, BTW.)

Unfortunately the before pictures did not turn out, due to not using the flash. Too bad, too... the difference is shocking.
