Hey Everyone!

I'm gonna have my very own Radio Show here in Auburn , AL on WEGL 91.1 FM. So if you live in the five county listening area (Chambers, Lee, Russell, Tallapoosa and some other county I can't remember...) then you should listen to yours truly Saturday and Sunday 12-2 AM CST.

Woohooo!!!

*Sort of "unconfirmed", but I should know by the end of the day for sure!

Music... but I can talk a little bit. It's in the middle of the night on the weekends. I don't think it will be a huge deal.

The usual college radio station fare... alternative, indie and some metal and punk. They have classic rock on vinyl, and oh, my personal favorite the "rotation" stuff, which is new.

Make sure you give GC some free advertising, we could use some new blood around here.

Hey, what's wrong with the old blood?

Congrats on the radio show. It sounds like a lot of fun. If I'm ever in AL I'll be sure to tune in.

C'mon Kev.....GCers, and millions of lurkers and trolls are seeing your site advertised free o' charge here. It'll cost you nothing to throw the GC name out to a few thousand college kids [Wink]

what? give something away when you don't have to? hey, next you'll be talking about human rights, you damn liberal, you!

of course, pitch it as a business proposition, as in: there could be a mutually beneficial symbiosis between linking your radio show with a cult, successful website, and i'm sure kev might see it differently.

but free advertising for gc? kev is obviously too much of a grasping, self-centred, blinkered, boring, tedious and short-termist joik to do that.

Geek Radio? What would that be like? 24-hour rolling Kraftwerk, or something. [Wink]

Reliant-k, Five Iron Frenzy, and They Might be Giants would probably be what I would consider geek radio. I'd through Weezer in but they're closet geeks.

Oh, and Korn. Jonathan Davis is a HUGE geek.

Ah Devo. I saw them for the first time at a bar in Boston in 1979. Wicked fun live. Their founder, Mark Mothersbaugh, now writes TV music, notably for "Rug Rats"
