I noticed somthing like this where
where people where asked to read a
a sentence with doubled words that
that where split by an EOL. most
people did not see both words.

Sorry but I dont have original.

yes i didn't notice the repeated 'that' until i reread your comment carefully..

about X-ing out the vowels.. that doesn't work to
to well for me.. i had to read it several times
times to figure out what it meant...

hm, I'm suprised how legible it is without the vowels. Then again, it works for Israelis :)
