Greetings from the nether regions of my soul... and welcome back, I trust your trip went well?

I bid your posts be parallel to... a bottomless cup of coffee. Need I say more?

Nice piccies!

Like the "us in huahine" one, particularly - good use of silhouette.

The very last shot, the ocean view, is absolutely breath-taking. I've never been to see the ocean, and I've been starting to feel the lack, recently, but that last photo just makes me want to quit my job, load my books and my pc into my car, and just drive. . .

Welcome back Addie! Looks like you had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing the pictures. [Smile]

Congrats on the job! Hmmm... with DMan, that makes three of us in academia. I wonder how many others there are? Academia can be as crazy as anywhere else, but it has its rewards.

whatever you do, don't say this: And this button-down oxford cloth psycho, might just snap at any moment, stalking from office to office with an Armatile AR-10 Carbine-Gas semiautomatic weapon, bitterly pumping round after round into colleagues and co-workers.

It's not a good icebreaker.

"Or maybe you just shouldn't bring me every piece of trash you find."

Addie, it's a quote from Fight Club. You should see it. It will make you a better person [evil] .

"I haven't been fucked like that since grade school."
Or the original line from the book:
"I want to have your abortion."

Tyler, have you read the book?

And with a FatGnome the accadamia reaches 5 in its employment of geeks. Gotta love helping install network cards and troubleshooting network cards and fixing stupid problems all day. Not that I would rather be flipping hamburgers or anything. Ohh yeah back to topic Looks like you had a great trip and welcome back.
