Anyone here been geocaching? It looks like fun.

( I was thinking Saddleworth Moor would be a good spot... but anyone from around there could imagine the implications...)

Personally, I think it would be better to replace the geeky GPS coordinate part with a riddle! ...and a prize for the first person to get it! and bugger all for anyone afterwards.

No, but I've heard about. Very cool idea. I heard there are a couple caches in my area (Rocky mountains). Too bad I don't have a GPS dealie [Frown]

Ha ha! [Big Grin]

Here's the story of a man named Brady
Who was the sickest bastard to have roamed
He had mad eyes -
- and a tape recorder
And now calls Broadmoor home

Here's the story of a chick named Myra
who had a tragic haircut of her own
she smoked herself -
- to death in prison
- they'd never let her go

The Brady Bunch, the Brady bunch... la la la la ...

Slashdot has a link to this story; apparently some parks in Minnesota have already banned this activity [Frown]

I've been doing it for about a year now when weather permits and it's a lot of fun. It's sort of educational, too, in that I've definitely seen a lot of out of the way spots around my home town that I never would have thought to visit otherwise.
